Please note that the EE Amendments Act, No. 4 of 2022 (EEAA) and its regulations HAVE NOT come into effect yet, the Department of Employment and Labour has confirmed that the status quo in respect of the reporting period for 2024 will remain unchanged.
Therefore, ALL previously deemed designated employers are still required to submit their annual EE Returns by the relevant due dates. This includes employers employing less than 50 employees, but with a turnover exceeding the threshold in the ACT.
The 2024 EE Reporting period will be open from 1 September 2024 and will close on 15 January 2025 for online submissions.
