Here are important steps to follow if you receive such an email:
1. Contact the UIF Call Centre: If you receive an email regarding a TERS audit, please call the UIF Call Centre at 0800 030 007 and select Option 3.
2. Provide Necessary Details: When speaking with the consultant, be prepared to give them your UIF number and the name of the audit firm that has contacted you.
3. Confirmation: The consultant will confirm whether your company is currently under a TERS audit.
4. Next Steps: If your company is not under audit, the consultant will advise you to ignore the email. You will receive a reference number for your call via email for your records.
