AEASA 2026 Conference

Agricultural economists have met under the Agricultural Economics Association of South Africa banner for more than six decades, and the 63rd conference is hosted in Limpopo by the University of Limpopo, the University of Venda and the provincial Department of Agriculture. The programme examines how geopolitics, shifting trade flows and climate governance are reshaping markets and food security, with sessions on agricultural finance, rural investment and equity. Researchers, policymakers, postgraduate students and practitioners whose decisions depend on understanding where policy and markets are heading should attend.
