Agri EC Annual Congress

Agri EC represents around 3 000 commercial farmers through 98 affiliated agricultural associations, and its annual congress in Jeffreys Bay is where the province’s organised agriculture sets its agenda for the year ahead. Held together with the Eastern Cape Red Meat Producers’ Organisation, the two-day programme features industry speakers, elections and policy debate, a ladies’ day for farmers’ wives, and an awards dinner that culminates in the announcement of the Eastern Cape Toyota Young Farmer of the Year. Any Eastern Cape farmer who wants a say in how the sector is represented should attend.
