Electronic VAT Submission & Payment

VAT vendors who file and pay through SARS eFiling usually have until the last business day of the month following their tax period to submit their electronic VAT (VAT201) return and pay. Filing electronically is faster, gives instant confirmation and allows a slightly later deadline than manual submission. Vendors should reconcile input and output VAT carefully to avoid errors and audits.
