Vendors who submit manual VAT returns rather than through eFiling generally face an earlier deadline, usually the 25th of the month following the tax period. Because manual payments take longer to process, it is important to submit and pay well before the deadline to avoid late-payment penalties and interest. Switching to eFiling can make the process simpler.
