Royal Agricultural Show 2026

The 2026 Royal Agricultural Show marks the 175th anniversary of the Royal Agricultural Society and is the first show staged at the Society’s new home, the heritage-listed Tweedie Hall in Howick. The Society originally scheduled the show for 29 May to 3 June 2026, but rescheduled it to 8 to 11 October 2026 in response to national foot-and-mouth disease control efforts and continued uncertainty around livestock movement, repositioning it as a spring showcase. General manager Wayne Muller has described the 2026 event as a full agricultural show rather than a general exhibition, and the Society will use it to launch the Royal Agricultural Exchange, a new livestock leadership and engagement platform intended to become a permanent feature of its activities.
